Offer Support

Step 1: Visit the Roslindale Cares offerings list and type your information into a new row. If you are offering multiple things, it is helpful to add each item/support/service into its own row, so neighbors can respond to each offer individually. The chart is public, and people will be able to see your name, contact information, and what you can offer. When someone wants to take advantage of your offer, they will contact you directly, using the information you've provided within the sheet.

Once your offer has been taken up, please take a moment to update the status of your offering to “claimed” using the dropdown in the chart.

Step 2: Visit the needs list to see if you can support anyone who is waiting for a specific kind of support. Reach out to them directly, if you would like to offer help.

Step 3: If you would like to provide financial support to community members, we are currently directing people to the Boston Helps page (since our small volunteer team doesn't currently have the capacity to facilitate money transfers). We have also seen individuals transfer money through Venmo, if you would like to offer financial support to someone within the community.
